Would you like to see your pupils’ work published…? Last year, six best selling authors and schools from all over the UK took part in the World Book Day Short Stories Competition, sponsored by Evans.
Each author (including Jacqueline Wilson and Michael Rosen) wrote an original first line which 3,000 children transformed into stories ranging in subject from the Roman age to space travel…!
Twelve winners were published in a final anthology, entitled “Why Were Her Toes Like that…?” and Other Short Stories (available in bookshops at £2.99, with all profits to be donated to the World Book Day Charity).
